Digital archiving
Born in 1986, the ACF (Audiovisual Creative Fair) is held every two years. This is the main professional event of the audiovisual professions in Belgium. Titan is organizing this conference as part of the ACF being held in autumn 2003.
The purpose of this day was to deal with digital archiving and the consequences of content indexing on the organization of work in television, companies, administrations, institutions ... The day was split in two parts:
- a morning with presentations giving the political, economic and technological dimensions (implementation of information and communication technologies in the Walloon region, state of the art, the influence of digitization, new media, new fashion scanning and indexing, etc.)
- an afternoon devoted to the case study, tools for the creation, management and exploitation of archives, and demonstrations of projects, services or products.
